Gothenburg and Sweden’s West coast
Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city and the fifth largest in the Nordic region, with about 570,000 inhabitants in the urban area and just over one million with the local authorities.
In Gothenburg you have most things within walking distance. Hotels, congress halls and restaurants and attractions are all close together. It is possible to shop and visit a museum on the same day that you fish by the sea or glide forward with a canoe along a glittering lake. The distances are short and with chartered means of transport we take you easily from the city to barren cliffs and roaring waves.
Why not confer during the day and then change the conference chair to a rib boat for a trip out to a charming island to eat freshly caught fish? Seafood is a must on the West Coast!
For those who want to experience real adventures, there is much to choose from on the west coast. How about catching up on lobster fishing at sea, seeing a seal colony close up or silently cutting through the waves in a sea kayak? Few places on earth can offer such good water for canoeing as the Gothenburg archipelago.
